I remember when I wrote my first story. It was the summer of '79 ; I was twenty , going on twenty -one. I had just read the Hobbit , and The Lord Of The Rings for the first time , and I was eager to do my own There And Back story. So , I began working on the first draft of The Fairy King. I wrote it in a large notebook. It took at least a couple of years , and I enjoyed every minute of those two years.
My second story was also written in a notebook. It was a vampire narrative , called The Becoming , about a cop's transformation into a vampire. It also took at least a couple of years , and I enjoyed every minute of that journey as well.
The stories that I've written since have been about celebrities , and short dark fantasy. I have to admit that my celebrity stories are a bit odd , and though I'm not a professional writer , and may never will be , at least I'm having fun.
